چکیده

Abstract Aim To compare the robotic-assisted unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) with conventional UKA. Method We systematically searched on four databases till September 2021. The outcomes were pooled as mean difference (MD) or standardized (SMD) risk ratio (RR), and 95% confidence interval. used RevMan to perform analysis. Results There 22 included studies. no significant differences between UKA one in satisfaction rate (RR=1.05, CI [0.98, 1.14], p=0.19), complication (RR=0.62, [0.32, 1.19], p=0.15), range of motion (MD= -0.23, [-5.76, 5.30], p=0.93). However, showed favouring outliers limb alignment (RR= 0.46, [0.29, 0.74], p=0.001). On other hand, had better surgical time than robotic assisted (MD=20.89, [11.87, 29.90], p<0.00001). Conclusions mainly several such rate, others. significantly favoured tibial alignment, but prolonged group.

Robotic arm-assisted versus conventional unicompartmental knee arthroplasty

OBJECTIVES This study reports on a secondary exploratory analysis of the early clinical outcomes of a randomised clinical trial comparing robotic arm-assisted unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) for medial compartment osteoarthritis of the knee with manual UKA performed using traditional surgical jigs. This follows reporting of the primary outcomes of implant accuracy and gait analysis tha...

Achieving Accurate Ligament Balancing Using Robotic-Assisted Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty

Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) allows replacement of a single compartment in patients with limited disease. However, UKA is technically challenging and relies on accurate component positioning and restoration of natural knee kinematics. This study examined the accuracy of dynamic, real-time ligament balancing using a robotic-assisted UKA system. Surgical data obtained from the compute...

Barbed versus traditional sutures for wound closure in knee arthroplasty: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Sutures are an increasing focus of research in knee arthroplasty (KA). Whether knotless barbed sutures (KBS) are safe and efficient in KA remains controversial. The objective of our study is to compare the clinical outcomes of KA according to wound closure method: KBS versus knotted traditional sutures (KTS). To clarify this, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis. Nine articles inv...

Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty, is it superior to high tibial osteotomy in treating unicompartmental osteoarthritis? A meta-analysis and systemic review

BACKGROUND Debate remains whether high tibial osteotomy (HTO) or unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) is more beneficial for the treatment of unicompartmental knee osteoarthritis. The purpose of this study was to compare the functional results, knee scores, activity levels, and complications between the two procedures. METHODS We performed a systematic review of published literature from ...

Hand-assisted versus conventional laparoscopic splenectomy: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

BACKGROUND Hand-assisted laparoscopic splenectomy (HALS) has been widely applied for the resection of larger spleens. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the safety and feasibility of HALS compared with conventional laparoscopic splenectomy (CLS). METHODS A comprehensive literature search in MEDLINE, EMBASE and Cochrane Library databases was performed to compare cli...
